Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier

  • Arrive in Tangier.
  • Explore the Kasbah, Medina, and the American Legation Museum.
  • Visit Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules.
  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with a view of the Strait of Gibraltar.

Day 2: Tangier to Chefchaouen

  • Morning drive to Chefchaouen (about 2 hours).
  • Explore the Blue City, wandering its narrow, blue-painted streets.
  • Visit the Kasbah Museum and the Grand Mosque.
  • Relax in Plaza Uta el-Hammam with a traditional Moroccan tea.

Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes

  • Morning drive to Fes (about 4 hours).
  • Visit the ancient Medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • Explore Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the tanneries.
  • Spend the night in a traditional riad in Fes.

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

  • Early morning departure for Merzouga (about 7 hours).
  • Pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the Ziz Valley.
  • Arrive in Merzouga; enjoy a camel trek into the Sahara Desert.
  • Spend the night in a desert camp, with dinner and stargazing.

Day 5: Merzouga to Marrakech

  • Depart from Merzouga and travel through the Todra Gorge and Dades Valley.
  • Visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous film location.
  • Continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
  • Arrive in Marrakech in the evening; explore Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the Medina.

This itinerary gives you a full experience of Morocco’s diverse regions, from coastal cities to mountain passes and desert dunes, ending in the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Amazing tours

We were a family of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids). We did two trips with MoroccoToursVIP- 5 Dayd around Morocco. Everything were amazing. Our driver was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The car was comfortable and the A/C worked great. what got what was included. The food was great and the view of the desert was amazing. The day trip to Air Ben Haddou was also a wonderful experience. Our local guides was great especially in Marrakech and we ate at a local restaurants and not a tourist place with all the other buses. Overall, highly recommend this company!they reoly quickly for anything you asked, really are reliable.
